About Me

Hello, my Name is Braydon Gomes and I have been passionate about the game of baseball for as long as I can remember. I grew up on a small farm in rural Urbana, OH. My house had a long gravel driveway, and as a kid i would hit rocks from the drive with a wiffle ball bat into the surrounding cornfields for hours a day.

I played my high school ball at Urbana High school where I graduated in 2010 as a 1st Team All-State performer and a Central Buckeye Conference Champion. I continued my baseball career at Adrian College where i was a part of 4 Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Association Championships and 4 Regional appearances. I also graduated from Adrian College with a B.S. in Geology.

After college, I pursued a career in environmental consulting; however, I continued to play and practice the game I love as an amateur every summer in various adult leagues. Through my continued playing and practice I was later given an opportunity to play in the California Winter League for the Canada A's.

Today, I currently reside in the Columbus area with my lovely girlfriend and our dog coaching baseball and teaching.
